Celebrities Celebrate Kerry

Numerous celebrities have already come out supporting Kerry, albeit some have been sadly shouted out due to their endorsement. So not only can the conservatives not align themselves with America, but they are out of touch with culture? Understandably popular culture is not something that would seem important to a politician, but when it comes down to it, who doesn't like at least some of these pop culture icons. Will Ferrell, for one, who I think is just really funny acted in a parody Bush commercial, organized in part by ACT (America Coming Together). In the commercial, Will takes his comedic talent and becomes George W. Bush. Let's just say apparently Bush doesn't like horses.

On top of that, an impressive line-up is growing with the Vote for Change tour, coordinated by MoveOn PAC and ACT. This includes Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, Ben Harper, R.E.M., Pearl Jam, Bonnie Raitt, the Dixie Chicks, Jackson Browne, and John Mellencamp just to name a few. There will be a variety of tour locations and dates, all shown on MoveOn.org's or ACT's sites. Sure, star power maybe only star power, but for me, a music lover and comedy fan, that just means more things to watch and listen to. Of course, it is great to see the added publicity for the Kerry campaign!
